The accommodation at the The Gables is of a very high standard with genuine period charm whilst retaining a real family home feel, surrounded by approximately 2 acres of landscaped gardens complete with large patio areas, plenty of outdoor seating and the ever-hopeful BBQ, and oodles of spacious, underfloor-heated 'daytime' living space and comfy sleeping accommodation for up to 17 adults* plus 2 infants.
Living Rooms and Snug
Large living with separate sitting room both with open fires. in addition there is a ‘snug room’ in the basement. All rooms have comfortable sofas and duel-channel-viewing Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Freeview and wifi through-out.
Kitchen - Dining
For all you accomplished chefs our country kitchen has more space and atmosphere than you could shake a stick including the inevitable large kitchen table with additional storage and work surface provided by the adjacent capacious utility room. The Gables has 6 bedrooms (2 en-suite) of varying configuration, a master bathroom, and a family bathroom. All bedrooms include comfy beds and high quality bed linen. All bedrooms have flat screen TV with duel-channel-viewing Sky and Freeview and wifi through out. More info?

Garden & Games Room
Our 2 acres of landscaped gardens provide as much space as you or the younger members of your party are likely to need. In addition there is a play-climb-swing area, and for the young and older alike; ample patios for that summer barbecue. More info?
Although we would hope you have beautiful sunny weather during your visit to The Gables, you may not be able or want to play outside! So if any of your party fancy a game of darts or pool try out the games room, you won’t have to leave the warmth & comfort of the house.
There again if you would rather be a spectator, you can catch up with the latest in the sports world on the games room own ubiquitous flat screen TV with duel-channel-viewing Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Freeview.
For the walkers amongst you or for guests with prams, there is also a outer vestibule attached to the reception hall. This in itself is a large area with plenty of space and ceramic floor tiling to store wet gear in, and as a bonus help keep the house extra warm.
THE Peak District is the most visited National park in the world and offers a whole wealth of local attractions, places to visit, enjoy a walk or somewhere to simply just eat and relax.
